SUMMARY:PD Clubhouse: Dance for Parkinson's with Elli Hindmarch
DESCRIPTION:Learn elements of Argentine Tango with a little Swango thrown in!  We will start off with some warm up exercises. Then we’ll pair up for changing weight in place\, the tango walk or “caminata\,” while stepping to varying rhythms around the room. We’ll practice a simple figure\, the baldosa\, to various types of tango music\, then add some swing steps to create a fusion of the dance styles\, called Swango. \n\n\n\nElli began partner dancing in May of 1998 at the teen center in Santa Fe\, NM and fell in love with this art form! She is passionate about Lindy Hop\, Argentine Tango\, Swango\, and Blues Fusion. Elli has since taught\, danced and performed in these styles and in places as far flung as Argentina & Sweden.
