POP Santa Fe wants to be Northern New Mexico’s premier center for Parkinson’s wellness, collaboration, and community. To do this, we have embarked on a capital campaign that will not only expand our facilities, but make POP Santa Fe the community hub for people living with Parkinson’s in Northern New Mexico.

- Summary of 2026 NM Legislative SessionA summary and current status of relevant legislation for the NM 2026 regular session has just been posted. Many of our issues are part of the broader needs for the state. The full post includes a link to the report.
- Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers starts 3/17/2026The Stress-Busting Program (SBP) for Family Caregivers™ is a program that provides support to family caregivers of people with chronic illness. It is proven to:
- Reduce caregiver stress
- Reduce anxiety
- Reduce anger/hostility
- Improve quality of life
The program runs for 9 weeks, 90 minutes per week, via Zoom. Classes meet 12:30-2:00pm. Registration is required.

Starting on Saturday 1/24 (and every following 3rd Saturday of the month), the Santa Fe Climbing Center will have open climb time from 2 - 3:30 for everyone in the PD community. Learn more...
Indoor rock climbing is a total-body workout that requires problem solving in the moment. It's great exercise and open to everyone - PwP, care partners, friends, volunteers and coaches. All participants must sign the waiver. Many thanks to Andre, the owner of the SF Climbing Center, for setting this up for us!

Jill Basso of Desert Sage Tai Chi
Jill Basso has been a Tai Chi instructor since 1996. She was a Tai Chi competitor from 1997 to 2004, and earned 3 gold medals in Tai Chi form and push hands, as well as silver and bronze medals in fixed, restricted step and moving push hands. You may have seen Jill teaching Tai Chi outdoors in the Rose Park on Don Gaspar.
