Architect's Vision of the Expanded POP Santa Fe Gym

Hi Everyone,

This post will be a place where you can find out what has been happening with the POP Gym Expansion. I will update this post as often as there is noteworthy “new news” to tell you.

We have secured our building permit from the City of Santa Fe, and we are in final negotiations with the best evaluated general contractor. This general contractor has submitted a bid and is securing final sub-contractor proposals for this expansion/renovation project. This is a very critical and time consuming activity as it not only establishes the work scope for our project going forward, it also establishes the project cost estimate to complete.

We have a great architectural/general construction/project management committee assembled. They are as follows:

  • Adrienne Shurbet – Owner and Head Honcho
  • Stephen Elliott – Owner/POP Board of Directors and Legal Council
  • Dale Zinn – Senior Project Architect
  • Taylor Pardue – Project Architect
  • Peggy Samaha – Owner’s Representative/Project Manager

As we continue to move forward, we will establish a consistent reporting mechanism for the POP Board of Directors. Fundraising will begin almost immediately so please help in anyway you can with this on-going campaign effort.

We are very excited about what we are planning for this wonderful project and CAN’T WAIT for you to see the progress… so….. STAY TUNED.
